Just weeks ago at rally in Ohio, Trump said the coronavirus "affects virtually nobody"—just as many seniors, the group most vulnerable to COVID and many of whom spent the last year away from friends and family, are now contemplating spending the holidays, too, alone and scared.https://twitter.com/HotlineJosh/status/1312742026081959936 …

But what about their $200 Medicare prescription cards? Didn’t that buy their votes?
-
That hasn't happened. I sure haven't seen it. I don't think it's going to. Trump's plan to put his name on it was too much even for HHS. Thank goodness. Some people would have fallen for it.

And none of us wants to stay cooped up at home any longer than we absolutely have to. After 7 months of it, we're sick of it. And that guy would just put us in the warehouse for another coupla years until "herd immunity" might be achieved? Atlas is not helping Trump.

I know Millennials and GenZ’ers who have told me that they are taking extra care on my behalf. Not ready to accept that “senior” label but I’ve been getting mail from the AARP for a very long time.

For me, just call me "old." I don't feel old either (usually), but I hate the euphemism "senior." Old is just more honest.

As a "senior" myself, I think my cohort is finally wising up: seeing that Trump doesn't care about protecting them at all, despite their strong support for him. Not prioritized? We feel disrespected and pushed to the bottom - last priority. Finally getting through to people.
