Also, did he take a test Tuesday before the debate and what was the result?https://twitter.com/samstein/status/1312465898138083328 …

Would be helpful if the White House just put out a detailed timeline. When did he first feel symptoms When did he take his first test When was he diagnosed (which could be technically different) Where there other tests, if so when? When did they begin contact tracing Etc.

Also type of test. He most likely first had rapid AbbottID NOW, which was positive, and then confirmed by standard PCR

That's my sense, too. That's the timeline that fits the evasions, corrections & the confirmations. A prelim positive (sometime Wednesday?) they did not count as diagnosis but started with the EUA/treatments. Then Hicks + broke & he had PCR return positive and became symptomatic.

Starts crashing Friday, they (correctly) take him to Walter Reed asap. This isn't minor, because there's that fundraiser on Thursday and the rest..

So was he shouting loudly and continuously deliberately during the debate? Knowing he had it, trying to infect Biden?

We also don't know about Tues: Chris Wallace said president arrived too late for debate on Tues in order to be independently tested by Cleveland Clinic prior to entering the debate room- so they did not test him for covid. https://cnbc.com/video/2020/10/

I do wonder, the more they evade, how early that first rapid positive test came in? And they trying to hide that he had a rapid positive before the fundraisers? Or maybe that, and that he didn’t have a negative before the debate? Or even was positive *before* the debate?

Was the test used to screen guests at the SCOTUS event the Abbott ID NOW? Or something else? The hope of rapid PoC tests was that they would catch high viral load super spreaders. Seems not to have worked in this case

Even a very good test will still have an appreciable false negative rate though... PCR still does too
