agree strongly I defied conventional wisdom at time (shorter, linear arguments) to build up my expert opinion section at Wired to be the top (it was also one of v early, c 2012 to feature Zeynep regularly;) using both *length* + what I call *"3 turns of nuance"* (not simplified!)
