If this new guidance gives people permission to open windows, that's great! But I don't think ventilation is the only thing we can do to keep ourselves safe in indoor environments. Dr. Nuzzo, This is a layered risk approach. Ventilation/fresh air, masks, distancing, hand washing/surfaces. 1) Increase fresh air exchanges & MERV13 filter 2) Open windows if no HVAC and add filters to pick up the virus3) Distance/mask/hygiene hands/surface.

Where I remain most confused is the issue of use of N95s vs Surgical masks for HCWs in outpatient indoor settings with limited outside ventilation but where ~6ft distancing feasible most of the time. Most common standard in that setting seems surgical. Should it be N95 instead?
