TFL have split the buses into school buses and not school buses on some routes. Guess it helps with distancing for adults but the kids were packed like sardines. And it was 4 buses before one I could board.

I guess it kinda makes sense in order to decrease infection from the urchins. But they then go home and mingle with their parents who then go to work on their bus...

Kids are more likely to be asymptotic. They will still pass it on to teachers, family, etc and then it gets passed on at shops, in restaurants, offices, etc. The inevitable conclusion is that the R0 increases.

Nobody knows how much kids spread the virus. But there isn't much evidence it's a major factor.

This study shows that children has the same spread rate as adults. https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/en/publications-data/children-and-school-settings-covid-19-transmission …

That is not at all what the study shows. (Just because I was tagged later). "child to child transmission in schools is uncommon" etc.
