Indeed!!!! If you don't mind keeping a "robust" separation [10/12 ft is great--even no need for Masks!!], you can be on the beach for 12 hours, and Eddy Currents, Brownian Motion, and 3 dimensional air dilution, are gonna insure you won't/can't get infected.

There's much less than one meter in between people in packed beaches here. And Brazilians do talk very loudly and up close. As for the WHO, unfortunately their communication has been messy. As I understand it, the guidelines are for populations with R0 under 1. Not the case here.

But I don't understand you point and I would like to. You think beaches should be allowed? No matter the culture around it or RO? Because after two weekends of packed beaches data shows hospitalization is on the rise again. Honest question.
