He doesn't know about it, wouldn't care if he did, and would likely just roll his eyes, and say "well, actually..." and remind me when I tried to sail or windsurf, I couldn't tell which way the wind was blowing and that I can't do even a tiny jump when we're biking on trails...

A few years ago advance copies of one of my books arrived at home. Always a great moment. My wife called my then-14 year-old son over, saying, “look, your father wrote a wrote a wonderful book!” And my son replied, “How do you know?! You can’t judge a book by its cover Mom!”
