Well. So this happened.
As I told @benyt, I feel charmed that I get to do this: do my best to call things as I see it regardless of considerations of popularity. It's a privilege and an honor. Much gratitude to so many who supported me for so long.

So I made no request either way but have no objections either way. Also, if someone called for a Dr. on a plane, they don't mean me unless they need an emergency literature review.
(Though that's kinda what seems to be necessary for public health emergencies, ironically enough). -
Yeah - I asked Zeynep if she felt strongly. The rule I learned 20 years ago is that you reserve it for medical doctors, though I don't have terribky strong feelings. Some languages have different words, which would be nice here.
