In order to get home to their loved ones, these two sailors (scroll down) sailed solo across the Atlantic (in opposite directions) in small boats, after the COVID-19 lockdowns on air travel. They both noted the dolphins. #respect. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-53431985 … I wish I had such skills.

I have a solid sailing skill! I induce "swearing like a sailor" in people around me whenever I attempt to do anything in a vessel that involves sails & wind by doing the absolutely most wrong thing, usually bringing the vessel closer to capsizing or going in the wrong direction.

I'm good at making rum daiquiris. Take me and I promise you won't get scurvy.

Well, I hope you're *also* good at the sailing part then as our "make people curse" skill probably sufficient for the endeavor. That said, I may also need to be kept far away from all sails and ropes till anchored, lest I manage to capsize it. (You'd be surprised! I'm good!).

The ancients: "Odysseus had himself tied to the mast to resist the siren song that none had ever escaped from!" Late capitalism: "Thanks to modern medicine & technology, even people this *untalented* can survive to adulthood! So please tie her down away from sails till anchored!"
