To put it this way, even if his real name googling eventually led to his blog, taking it from page two to page one would make a huge difference in his life. It's not something any newspaper should do to anyone without significant, substantive and transparent justification

Also worth noting, that those search results are a function of personalization. I currently still do not get those results or suggestions. But I think that the argument over if or if not it is a dox is irrelevant to the question of if it is or is not justifiable.

Thus far, all I've seen is him getting in front of it, a classic PR move, that has generated a lot of proactive defense from people who are not familiar with his work or community but just stand, generally, behind internet anonymity.
