Look, it sucks to be in this position. We are simultaneously trying to fix and prop vital institutions and depend on them at the same time as bad-faith actors are trying to sink them wholesale. Media, governments, WHO... But wagon-circling isn't working.

WTF are you talking about? Committee structures? Finances? We just needed test kits, PPE, and experts. The WHO helped. Most countries in the world operated like this. The problems were in the places that didn't use the crappy fire extinguisher on hand and wasted time.
