And journalists and others in these protests. Please WEAR A HELMET. Tear gas hurts a lot but well, for those without underlying conditions, short exposure is.. Meh. Unpleasant. But that @#$! canister? I've seen people's skulls smashed by those. That's your threat. Wear a helmet.

All good advice. Also, especially if you’re a journalist reporting from the front lines, consider wearing shatterproof goggles in addition to a helmet.
