TIL that in Outlook Web Interface you cannot search and sort your inbox. That is, you can't search for a term and then sort it all by sender or subject. The most basic need. People keep saying monopoly doesn't matter, look at Microsoft. I'm like, yeah, look at Microsoft products.

I know. Basic stuff should be easy to do, including for novices. But whenever I point that out, part of the push back I get is that I must be an idiot or a novice. Implied or explicit is female/old/stupid etc. https://twitter.com/douglasjmorris/status/1266003959300448260 …

Sorry, but my corporate paymasters at Micro$oft have sworn me to secrecy. This knowledge is Too Powerful.

Well, I'm not sworn to secrecy, and I just verified what she said. You can search, but you can't then search the results.

I don't think that's the Outlook web interface. Wait, I mean, the http://outlook.com interface. Which is different from the Outlook Web Interface, part of Office 365 enterprise plans, you're using.

Lol. I've used outlook web tons of times, but only when I had ZERO other choice, the search SUCKS basically non existent, everyone in my office knows this, and when we get a computer that doesn't have the desktop version installed, its awful.
