I mean, socialization is a significant force in human society and that's what it's feeding. Like any significant dynamic, I doubt we'll ever have a single number that captures the full impact. What I'm getting it is that FB researchers thought it's a sizable, important impact.

FB admitted that they most likely helped get trump elected but said they wouldn't be changing anything in that regard. These little tidbits about what they do wrong and how they aren't changing is just a big FU to anyone who disagrees.
