That number is deceptive, since NY does not count deaths that happen in a hospital as nursing-home deaths. And many states have also done a terrible job of protecting the elderly.

yes it's been a ghastly, awful failure across the board.
@maddow has done incredible, dogged reporting on it. I'd just say we don't have enough data right now to say NY has been clearly *worse* which is the question, w/r/t the Cuomo directive and its relative effects. - Show replies
