this^100, there’s no way this is a real future. Humans are by nature social creatures, this electronic world doesn’t even come close to satisfying my social needs.

I don’t think this precludes in person social interaction - the average number of close physical contacts probably remains roughly the same. Just less in-person contact with people you don’t know and will likely never see again, as is currently common in large cities
