Subtweet to media, especially science writers. When WHO says "there is no evidence", they don't mean something is false. There is no evidence either way. It could just as well be true. Also, "correlation doesn't imply causation" is wrong and stupid, and doesn't debunk anything.

sounds like the makings of an article on scientific reasoning and comprehension? If we are going to be awash in science journalism, reports, etc. then we need to educate the general public on "what scientist mean when they say ____" or a "what is ___ and why does it matter?"

Without education on building scientific literacy skills, we are just going to keep chasing our own tail (or at least be perceived that way) and fatigue to scientific communication will set and scientists will become simply dismissed by the general public...
