Went to a grocery store for the first time in a while. Fewer customers allowed in at a time: Good. Plexiglass between clerk and customer: Great! I used to be the only person with a mask now it's ~everyone: Yeay! Still I think grocery workers need N95s as soon as shortages allow.

Anyone who works indoors all day like grocery store workers with so many people circulating around them is at risk and should be considered as the frontline workers they are. We should direct N95 masks to them as well, and, honestly, nobody without masks should be allowed inside.

We all should wear at least cloth masks when indoors around other people to protect the people who work there. All the checkout clerks had were cotton masks: that's good for protecting others but won't stop them from being infected especially since not everyone is wearing a mask.

Your grocery stores are allowing uncovered patrons in?

I think this message needs to change to a *demand* of more mask production for everyone. Similar to how we’re messaging about testing. I don’t see adequate pressure applied here, and honestly don’t think this is a nice-to-have public safety measure.

I can also report my local stores, even the shoestring gas station are also complying & taking things seriously. There's a liquor store that has their whole operation now basically touch free from payment to parking lot.

Weaver Street now requires everyone to wear a mask while shopping. Meanwhile, Harris Teeter still doesn't have "one way" directional markers on aisles (which I thought was required by governor's order)

Likewise near Boston -- though we aren't yet doing one thing I've heard about from relatives in New York: one-way signage in the aisles to keep people from winding up going past each other in a narrow space.

Shouldn't they have to discard the mask and take a fresh one for each new customer?
