Read the piece. Cramming people indoors for a year is a huge huge risk itself. It’s better to manage the congestion outdoors.

Look, I’m not arguing the need for outdoor air AT ALL. I never was. What I’m saying is there is no way to control the volume of people entering public spaces, especially here in NYC, where we’ve lost over 11k people.

Sunlight UV has minimal effect on the virus, but ventilation is probably significant to a point, though maybe less so in large crowds.
