A question for @zeynep: I have a sewing machine, elastic, and lots of cotton fabric, as well as tea towels and a vacuum HEPA filter. What is the best mask material and pattern? I’m overwhelmed by what I’ve found online! Thank you

Thank you! Is non-woven polypropylene better (also washable) better than paper towel/tissue?

Any mask is better than no mask. Cambridge scientists tested 0.02 micron Bacteriophage MS2 particles (5 times smaller than the coronavirus) & compared homemade masks made of different materials to surgical masks.
