If the WHO had done its job properly, we might’ve avoided the whole pandemic. It’s a colossal failure. If the US government had done its job properly, we might’ve been more like Taiwan. Their schools have been open since February and they only had five deaths. Failure all around.

Taiwan knew not to trust China. They shut down fast. Pretty much the only cases now are returning citizens. Today they had only 1 new case (contact of existing case). That's it! 1 new case. Lesson 1-Don't trust China. Lesson 2-Test and contact trace to the max. Adapt & Innovate.

Don't disagree that there were errors. However the Taiwan/ China tensions & usual political shenanigans between the two went unmentioned? Why? That Taiwan is not a member of WHO, bc China edged it out from UN, I assume as known details.
