I hope you are right. I’m a microbiology prof & a few days ago would have agreed 100%, but what I’ve seen the last few days (used masks all over the bike trail, people with masks ignoring the 6ft lines, et cetera). If we think of others in addition to self I’m all for masks.

I personally AM asking what you would personally do because you have been so on top of this for so long! Very impressive

Thanks! I think runners/walker should space out and we should institute ways to make that spacing out stick and be respected. But I tend to follow Hong Kong/Taiwan health authorities (they are on top of this!) https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/keeping-the-coronavirus-from-infecting-health-care-workers …pic.twitter.com/6ug65HktoO

I think that is great! It isn’t just about the distance that a microbe can travel, it is about how safe you feel. The other part of this is our immune system helping us & reducing stress helps it work better. Can provide a reference for those who want them

In a piece I'm working on, I linked to one paper, a classic older one. Feel free to send suggestions! :-D I just want us to manage parks/trails so that we don't expect people to stay indoors for 12 months. (My argument outdoors/exercise=less stress=better health=better immunity).
