you will be pleased to know that my trip to the grocery store the other day NEARLY EVERYONE was in masks and gloves. there were maybe 2-3 that werent, and I was very pleased to see, having been masked up since january :D

Went to grocery store in small town. Those with masks nodded to each other. A few without sneered. The rest avoided eye contact. Prediction: In one month most will think to themselves, Damn why wasn’t I a first mover, too. (Good news is physical distancing has caught on.)

Same experience. A woman walking out with a mask as I was walking in stopped and exclaimed, THANK YOU. She said people were sneering at her.

EG, just about everyone in Northern California has a couple of N95s from the fires. They are clearly not suitable for hospital use, having been repeatedly worn.
