Doctors, by insisting on this being a binary question (straight answe: they don’t reduce risk), instead of accepting statements like (they reduce by 30 or 40%) are not being helpful and are contributing to the backlash.

Washing hands is required to be 20 seconds long. But surely you wouldn’t say to people: if you can’t wash for 20 seconds it’s better not to wash you hands at all.

But YES we would! If you don't wash your hands thoroughly and long enough, it won't have the needed effect. WHO and medical bodies around the world published endless videos showing how to properly wash hands

It not just how long...the "how" is just as important! The palm and back of your hand, the fingers and in between them.... every step MATTERS

These countries have even a more critical shortage of surgical masks! Such policy would stretch-thin an already weekend health system.....I don't agree!

The chart is simplistic but it is not nonsense, and the countries that do not adopt masks are not going to get this under control. The scientific evidence is overwhelming. Check my threads.
