The only country that you listed that mandates wearing masks is China. Masks are prevalent in many other parts of South East Asia and have been for decades. You left Singapore off the list where COVID-19 is also under control and govt (like CDC and WHO) urges most not wear masks.

Not true. Other countries do mandate (Korea has constant reminders in subways etc.). Singapore is one exception; and I guess, you can have one city with massive surveillance and mandatory testing/quarantines that's completely shut down its borders manage for a while.
