It really is actually. Tons of evidence for universal mask usage among population and tons of evidence for even selective mask usage protecting the wearer/community. It's weird but "the WHO is of course right internet rando with finger swipe is an idiot" doesn't work here.

A) as far as hospital overload, I'm hearing the opposite anecdotally from facebook, where a number of my Japanese doctor friends say the strain is starting to be felt & in some cases is past that point. B) let's wait & see (

Agree. My point is masks clearly have slowed down their epidemic. They are screwing up everything else and they will eventually get hit. But, ceteris paribus, they’re not Italy which has no mask wearing. See how that works? It’s a natural experiment.
