It really is actually. Tons of evidence for universal mask usage among population and tons of evidence for even selective mask usage protecting the wearer/community. It's weird but "the WHO is of course right internet rando with finger swipe is an idiot" doesn't work here.

I’ve looked up and down to make sense of the potential harm part. It makes zero sense, and has no backing. It’s true incorrect doffing after intubating a SARS patient would be harm—that kind of infection happened. But not in any “more harm then no mask” context in an epidemic.
