It really is actually. Tons of evidence for universal mask usage among population and tons of evidence for even selective mask usage protecting the wearer/community. It's weird but "the WHO is of course right internet rando with finger swipe is an idiot" doesn't work here.

As opposed to a journalist who doesn’t specialize in health at all claiming they know what’s better for public health than the WHO? What’s your rational explanation for why they’d recommend against masks if it was indeed best practice and evidence-based?
