Please don't stay indoors because of all the unscientific scolding going around. Sunshine and fresh air are good for you. Just don't get close to other people, avoid the crowds and crowded places. (Wear sunscreen, I guess, if it's really sunny).https://twitter.com/mlipsitch/status/1241781551668617220 …

What we need is a reasonable management of crowds at parks and trails, not shutting them down completely. Please, authorities, don't unscientifically close all parks. This will last a while. Control numbers and spacing, don't ban and shut down parks. (Parades, yeah, cancel them.)

Fair point! The trails I bike or run in are all in the shade, but I did put on sunscreen today!https://twitter.com/LibraryRaya/status/1241903854754684929 …

Well this sucks. This isn't going to be over quickly and we need to find a way to allow people to get fresh air, be out in the sun and be outside without crowding. https://twitter.com/Paul_Ward_Irl/status/1241911241037295617 …

Seems to me that keeping as many as possible open would make it less likely there will be crowds in the remaining accessible places... One more thing to figure out. https://twitter.com/JustGamblingFTW/status/1241913924892516352 …

Replying to @zeynep
Rocky Mountain NP in CO closed because all the visitors decided they needed to stop in Estes Park for food & souvenirs, too. Not helpful!
