YES. My father-in-law (in WA) has had a heart procedure (the first of two he needs) cancelled twice now. It's incredibly stressful.

If you read my piece, I do think a donation drive now is the least worst way to move forward. (If I ruled the world, we'd have ramped up domestic production in Jan; prevented hoarding while distributing reasonable amounts a la Taiwan, and your wife and friends would have plenty).
