It's staggering. It's also leading to a kind of death-news-fatigue here in the UK. We jumped from 11=>21=>35 in three days which is extraordinary but we're inured to it because of news from elsewhere and too busy strategising how to score toilet roll

Not to be too cynical here, but it’s more than likely the Wuhan #’s are highly suspect. Your point remains, however. I am fearful we have *no* idea of what is in store for us. We’re not prepared physically

Don't forget Italy locked down the towns where the outbreak first happened Feb 21. I'm reading new cases have slowed down there but they're still expecting waves in other parts of Italy.
