So a Sri Lankan NGO released the open letter above, trying to get @Facebook to do what is actually the bare minimum, even thought it's already late. Constant problem. Facebook has 2.5 billion users, but it ignores many countries: paying attention to issues in a few rich ones.

@CPASL calls "the single-most important platform for political communications on social media in Sri Lanka." Think of our complaints of FB's slow response. Imagine how it plays out in poorer countries.

Facebook has been ghosting a lot of countries like mine. Unreachable and uninterested in helping at all. This year we had elections and many like me are still waiting for any kind of answer.
