So @united pulled us off a plane twice last night. First was the weather, the second time they waited hours for “catering” and the crew timed out. Stuck overnight. This morning the plane is delayed again because ... “catering.” Terrible logistics is a consequence of cost-cutting.
I’m fine. I stayed up and read a great book. I just want to get to my destination. But a lot of people are really in a tough spot. No access to bags either. Lots of people had their already short US vacation time curtailed. People with kids. One diabetic in distress last night.

in a very non-scientific sample I have found that people who often fly are much more concerned about corporate concentration and its impact on competition... good luck

It’s just one more example in which the incentives are all aligned against peoples actual interests.
