Yes, apologies have been issued after the backlash. But more needs to be happen. That something like this segment could be produced and aired implicates everyone who took part. I’ve done a lot of media and there are many steps to this process. Many moments to say, wait, no.

Needless to say, @hereandnow has to invite @allofmilov for a lengthy segment (as long at that first one!) at a time that would help her work be recognized—the week her book is published. But there should be procedures for the future and this should be treated as a grave misstep.
