The problem is that they don't think of anything they don't want to do as per their own business models as interests isn't considered "ACTIONABLE" by them. It's quite "ACTIONABLE" otherwise. That's not a problem to do with needing a new field of study etc.

The first thing that anyone who wants help reform all this is to stop being naive about the real issues and obstacles. The claim that a core problemwe face is lack of field of study is *at best* naive. It may be well-meaning (why not?) but it will be ineffective and waste effort.
