Decades of research shows job training programs don't work at scale because of lack of *supply* of appropriate good jobs. Bootcamp grad who's done pretty well here
and I couldn't agree more. I put in a lot of hard work but definitely came in with support/privilege that made it MUCH more likely I'd succeed. Which is why I don't often recommend the path to others. -
I think it’s akin to learning a second language fluently, outcome expectations should be different for someone using duo lingo versus spending two years 100% immersed in a native speaking country.
