Decades of research shows job training programs don't work at scale because of lack of *supply* of appropriate good jobs. I’ve lived nearly 20 years away from family and where I grew up. It is a really hard trade off and one that I don’t think people should have to make for a job. For years my family didn’t understand why I couldn’t just move back home where there were limited tech jobs and pay.
