The question at hand is does capital have the right in liberal democracies to decide where people can live. This has absolutely nothing to do with authoritarian governments. That China uses capital to a huge this is an unfortunate side effect.

Or I suppose a more constructive reply is, what remedy would you propose to this that doesn’t leave our current administration deciding which governments get to influence our charities?
