How about a Concept2 rowing machine instead? All round exercise and best for cardio
-
I love rowing machines, use the one in my school gym. Can’t read or watch stuff on them.

Precor AMTs have adaptable strides but are very expensive.
-
Yeah. Default for smooth stride is tall people, adjustable is extra.
The shorter stride ones seem to be cheaper/clunkier ones. (Which us what I had for so long!)

I totally get it... I completely rely on my almost daily elliptical workout. I don’t like most machines, though. I’m not short, but have a short stride and need to be more upright for bad back reasons. TMI? Anyway, pic below is the brand I like.pic.twitter.com/f4KT8PU7N2

I don’t either but I’m not a runner and the elliptical is the best in-home cardio for me. It’s my watch/read for fun time. And I actually like exercise, but most things I do don’t have that combination: can’t also read/watch.

Wish I had a good answer. I haven’t found any machine I can read one. I have a Concept 2 erg that I can watch things on with wireless headphones and my iPad on a tripod.
