I hope so but when flights get cancelled, or when they have fears about aviation safety, some people do drive despite the risk.

Keep in mind that this only affects 72 planes in the US. SWA & American are scrambling to re-route planes, so there will be some delays. It's a logistical issue more than safety. If you've paid & are going far enough to necessitate a 737, you aren't driving.
