Seems they will increasingly integrate it so that they can’t easily be broken up—integrated codebase, functionality, user experience and networks. They won’t really be separate products, just more like options in one application. Right now, all those are separate.

On the flip side, enabling inter-operability to separate internal products may make it much easier to force inter-operability for non-FB products.

Interoperability would’ve been easy anyway. This doesn’t make it harder or easier with the outside just makes it harder to separate the three.
