Also, this stuff isn't a recipe. You can't just stream whatever (ahem, dental chairs). Some people are good at certain kinds of politics—it can be learned and crafted a bit but talent is a real thing. Which talent matches with what kind of policy? Not that direct a correlation.

Ignore political talent that finds its way to a political realignment at your own peril, I guess? Given how national politics works, people without this ability will often lose to people with regardless of their talents, say, at being legislators or even their policies.

I'll leave aside whether that's true or not (I don't really agree but put it aside)—yes, Trump won because he was so coherent and deep in his policies and so realistic? Also, I don't think she's anything like Palin. Have you watched Palin unscripted? Nothing like a rightwing AOC
