A topic that just doesn't lend itself to such isolated statistical analyses. That's not how culture or politics operates. Take the 0.1% at face value. Example: What if that led reporters to amplify narratives which colored the whole election? (I think that happened in parts).https://twitter.com/NateSilver538/status/1074848968188796930 …

If the immune system is weak and if there is no antibiotics forthcoming, a pretty small amount of E. coli can kill the patient. "It was just 0.0001 percent of your bodymass" isn't the right answer because the right question is: How did that interact with everything else and why?

Yep, there were specific incidents, but there was, I think, a lot of narrative-shaping power that was more diffuse but very potent to the trolling. And I think journalists were specifically targeted, and often fell for it.https://twitter.com/JodyShenn/status/1075837885541171200 …

No evidence ever presented that it was a hack. It's really amazing how serious people pretend that they don't know that the NSA practically OWNS the internet. So any such hack would have to be captured real-time by them. So ALL IT TAKES is a memo from them.
@NateSilver538 -
Yet they were the only agency out of three (so there was NEVER 17 agencies!) who gave lower level of confidence in Rusha doing nefarious things. Also, remember how State's own department was excluded from that assessment? So isn't it time to stop this collective paranoia???

I noticed you said biggest impact was "DNC hack" (btw we're still waiting for evidence that proves hack instead of leak, and attribution)...not the contents of the emails. You forgot to mention Twitter literally intervened to suppress trending topics re:
#DNCleak &#PodestaEmails -
Also, you left out facts like how the media was very resistant to reporting on the emails, even CNN going so far as to announce on air the 100% false idea that reading the emails was illegal lol. Eventually they caved and reported on mostly mundane bits, not the election rigging.
