Question: if you have business dinners with male, but not female colleagues; one-on-one meetings with male ones but not female ones, and on flights talk business with men, but not women: is there no law that bans this as blatant discrimination? It is against the law, title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bars employment discrimination on basis of race/religion/sex/national origin. Ironically, sex was included as a "poison pill" amendment by segregationists hoping to kill the bill.
