as we were settling in for bed, I turn on the Roku (Netflix set top box), there it was. She'd installed a YouTube app, and somehow managed to find a video on “factory reset for Chrome OS”. (When this is done, no login needed — an incognito no-password Guest login is available. /4

(Also, this is why I harp on YouTube extreme recommendations so much. For many young people, YouTube is where they go for information! It's not on our "public sphere" threat model either, but YouTube is kinda their Wikipedia except for constantly recommending crap
