Am I reading this right, that there is no way to have a Chromebook be maximally bright on battery? To turn off the power conserving and let the screen be as bright as possible? WTH?https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromiumos/platform2/+/master/power_manager/docs/screen_brightness.md …

I'm at a bright place with a laptop with full battery but the screen is not bright enough! Let me drain the battery! Gee. Is this a technical limitation of battery draw or just users not being given a reasonable option?

I'm still stuck on you having a Chromebook at all. I steered away because its hardware is power-thirsty for a device meant to mitigate that sort of trouble. I guess you found the sacrifice.

I have more than one laptop, the Chromebook is good for just taking it around places.. Good security, and the Pixelbook is a solid machine with a keyboard I like.
