I believe this is now fixed but seems it took hour+ to fix even after so many US tech journalists tweeted about it—probably no faster way to get Facebook's attention. This kind of failure happens all the time around the world, with little attention from FB but real consequences.

The failures you see in the US and Europe—take that and imagine the company has barely any attention for you. That's the digital public sphere in so many countries. Same thing happens, but there's no NYT tech journalists tweeting about it. Fill a form into the void, good luck.
