Agreed. Esp. if that "Evening News" is long enough for some depth, and actually covers news instead of just a talking-head "analysis."

It's incredible that media falls for this every time. THIRD time he's done this since the Kavanaugh accuser came forward, every time after devastatingly bad news breaks against K. Why can't journalists let a minority chase "firing" news while the rest keep eye on the ball?

It isn’t that they can’t, it’s that they won’t. Look how many people have push alerts turned on, and click through regardless how frequent or irrelevant the new news is. Editors are unwilling to let that traffic slip, and have somewhat perverse incentives to maximize it instead.
