Remnants of hurricane #Florence had a last hurrah on Chapel Hill/Carrboro this morning. Result: massive flash flooding! It was just a few hours of strong rain, after days of drizzle. Yea we are up highway 54 near Saxapahaw and the Haw River. But the flooding came out of nowhere this morning. Went from damp everywhere to rushing water.

I looked at the flood plain map before the storm, most of the places I'm seeing people report are matching pretty closely to that (Eastgate, Estes) do wish we could have a live map or something though...
