Ordinarily, I'd have muted or blocked or moved on, if that. The onerous reporting process plus toothless remedy plus lack of ability to deal with the problem (many individuals tweeting boring/stupid insults rather than any one boring/stupid tweet) doesn't incentivize reporting.
I only saw this because someone in his replies (also totally ignorant of my work and context etc.) tagged me. The problem with the quote-tweet is the out-of-context idiots who just want to say something, which leads to clutter. People who follow me know what I do.

On the one hand, screenshot is kinda cowardly but ppl who do it often just want the RTs. (Fine, who cares, they'd find something). But they are cowardly in their little corner: I don't see it. A substantive reply to me, otoh, would be trying to have a conversation. I'm for that.

Spot on. Especially since quote tweets are used mostly to dunk on people (or making a funnier joke and getting more RT/FAVs than the original joke, but I digress) so rarely any real conversation is trying to be had.
